Over 23 Years Of Experience in High Fashion Eyewear
London Eye Bespoke Eyewear’s founder, Paul started working in the designer eyewear industry back in 1997, originally managing brands such as Chanel, BVLGARI and Tag Heuer. Over the years Paul travelled around the UK visiting opticians every day and when back in his hometown Newark, he saw the town was missing the unique eyewear that was available elsewhere in the UK, especially London. The idea was to bring London style to Newark.
The store began on London Road in 2013, but we quickly outgrew our small store and moved to our current Chain Lane location that used to be a menswear store.
More recently we have moved over to more boutique designers such as Markus T and Sabine Be. This decision was made as we saw the rise in online eyewear sales and decided to stock more brands that are not available for online purchase.

Kelly is a local lass & joined the team when we were at our London road location. She is always ready to give you her biggest smile, undivided attention & advice.
Kelly is a mind of information & will go out of her way to help anyone.
In her spare time she likes to socialise with friends & family.
Michelle
Practice administrator
A sales & telesales career in the food service industry & Marketing. Michelle has spent time in many companies using her expertise to develop roles in providing a first class service to customers face to face & over the phone. Outside of work Michelle enjoys tennis & going to the gym.
Paul
Senior frame stylist
Paul has traveled to optical shows all over Europe & America
He has over 25 years experience in the frame industry & is passionate about eyewear.
In his spare time he can be found spending quality time with his boys.
Chloe Hyde-Barker, BSC MCOptom
Resident Optometrist
Chloe has a passion for all areas of Optometry and especially loves assisting children with all their eye care needs.
Chloe studied at the University of Manchester achieving a first class honours degree. She has worked in many optometry practices in London and the East Midlands since qualifying and has a wealth of experience with all age groups. In her spare time, Chloe has an active lifestyle enjoying cycling and the gym but also loves creating unique handmade garments.
James Cotter
Frame stylist & marketing manager
James has being helping Paul & visiting opticians around the country since he was 8 years old. He developed a keen interest & has the ability to find you a perfect pair of glasses in seconds. He recently graduated from Harper Adams university with a marketing degree. In his spare time he can be found helping out on his uncle’s farm.
